This year, Indiana will be the home of a new World Class Manufacturing Academy for the Kokomo and Tipton-based employees of FIAT Chrysler Automobiles. According to media.fcanorthamerica.com, “World Class Manufacturing is a methodology that focuses on eliminating waste, and improving quality and safety in a systematic and organized way. WCM engages the workforce to provide and apply suggestions on how to improve their jobs and their plants, promoting a sense of ownership.” This manufacturing methodology was originally started by FIAT and has now been adopted by Chrysler. It only makes sense, though, that a great vehicle was made with such a great work ethic behind the process, and it’s exciting to see how it transcends the rest of FCA US. For more information on FIAT and our other FCA models in stock, please feel free to contact us on our website, or come by and give one a test drive.
